New Arrival from Guatemala
MAY 12,2021
The Association of Special Coffee Producers of Huehuetenango cooperative is made up of more than 450 families, each with their own micro-mill to process their harvest. A central warehouse stores the dried parchment until it is ready to ship to Guatemala City. The cooperative has helped the families with technical assistance, cultivation and agricultural practices like using coffee pulp for organic fertilizers, and transport from their rugged region into the city for international export.
