Brazil Organic Dutra Natural comes from a family-owned coffee farm in Sao Joao do Manjuacu, in the Matas de Minas region of Minas Gerais state (also known as Zona da Mata). This region is known for its rolling hills, offering a reprieve from the inland heat. Proximity to the coast offers more summertime rainfall than other regions of Minas Gerais, but that comes at the expense of generally poorer soil quality.
