It's a little thing, but little things add up.
Over the next few weeks, you'll notice that the capsules you receive no longer have an aluminum lid. Instead, you will see a plain top that looks a lot like paper. This change to our lidding material now means that the entire capsule is 100% compostable. It also means that there is no way to differentiate between the pods once removed from their packaging. In response to this challenge, we are redesigning our box. The new box design will be available in 2022.
We apologize for this inconvenience but sincerely believe it's a worthwhile tradeoff for a more sustainable pod.
