Nestled in the highlands of western Guatemala near the Mexican border, the Huehuetenango region is one of the country’s most renowned coffee-growing areas. The farms sit at elevations between 1,500 and 2,000 meters above sea level, where the combination of mountainous terrain, rich volcanic soil, and cool winds from the Cuchumatanes Mountains create ideal conditions for producing exceptional Arabica coffee.

This organically cultivated coffee is grown by smallholder farmers who practice shade-grown, sustainable farming methods that protect both the environment and the biodiversity of the region. The cherries are handpicked at peak ripeness and fully washed, then sun-dried on patios, resulting in a clean, well-balanced cup.

Huehuetenango coffees are celebrated for their bright acidity, medium body, and complex flavor notes—often showing floral aromas, sweet chocolate, caramel, and a hint of citrus or stone fruit.
