Finca La Hermosa is a highly regarded specialty coffee farm located in the Acatenango Valley in Chimaltenango, Guatemala, founded by Max Pérez and Claudia Abril. It sits at high elevations roughly 1,800 – 2,000 meters above sea level, which contributes to slow cherry maturation and enhanced cup complexity. The farm is known for its organic farming practices, traceability, and sustainable approach, and has won multiple prizes at the Cup of Excellence. Coffees are typically grown in volcanic soils with cool temperatures, abundant fog, and strong mountain breezes—ideal conditions for high-quality coffee cultivation.
