New Arrival from Honduras
October 31, 2025
Organic Maya Royal Select MWP Decaf is sourced from small family-owned farms in the highlands of Honduras, where coffee is grown at high elevations in mineral-rich volcanic soil. These farmers are part of Fair Trade USA–certified cooperatives, ensuring fair pricing, ethical labor practices, and long-term community support.
The coffee is cultivated using 100% organic, sustainable farming methods, with a focus on soil health, biodiversity, and natural shade-grown practices. Many of the farms use traditional agroforestry systems, where coffee plants grow beneath native shade trees that protect the environment, preserve wildlife habitats, and enhance the coffee’s slow, even maturation.
Once harvested, the beans are sent to Mexico for the Mountain Water Process (MWP) decaffeination. This gentle, chemical-free method uses pure mountain water to remove caffeine while maintaining the coffee’s natural sweetness, aroma, and nuanced flavor profile.
By choosing this coffee, you’re supporting Honduran farming families who are committed to ethical agriculture, environmental stewardship, and crafting high-quality specialty decaf coffee.
